Legacy at it's finest
As the times go by, we are about to aged. We are about to leave this world and gone forever. But of course, we do all want to be remembered or to leave legacy. So how do you want to be remembered? What legacy do you want to leave? What kind of path did you want to be followed?
Ever since I was I child, I always thinking of the future. "What will I be?" "What kind of life I'm going to have" "What kind of journey I'm going to walked in" , a few questions that I often asked to myself. However, as every seconds past, our planned future has changed and our legacy turns into something we didn’t plan on? Things change in a moment and suddenly everything we believed, understood or desired goes out the window.
Since I was the youngest child of the family, I was expected to bring their fortune and luck. I was a consistent honor student since my elementary so supposedly I should be an honor student until the very end. This is the legacy I want to be remembered of. Especially to those PWDs that are having a tough life like mine. I wanna show the whole world that being incomplete will never be a burden in reaching goals. Being mute, hunchback, deaf, above normal, and etc. shouldn't be pitied yet they should be idolized, desired and served as inspiration to many. This is how I want to be remembered, that once upon a time there was a one-legged man named Jenson Arvisu who accomplished all of his dreams and inspired many people for such being a brave man in facing the battle of life.
We’ve all got roles in our lives, to be a good son, friend, a member of community, and etc., but it’s how we use it that makes all the difference. If we really try and really want it, we can actually change the world. If continue to dream and exceed efforts in reaching our goals, I truly believe we can make and break our own destinies.
